Our People
• All guides are police vetted
• All guides hold current First Aid certificates
• All our drivers have ‘P’ (Passenger Service License) endorsements meaning they are licensed to drive fare paying passengers.
Our Vehicles
•All our vehicles are serviced in line with the manufacturers’ recommendations
•All vehicles are inspected every six months by Vehicle Testing New Zealand on behalf of the New Zealand Transport Agency (and must pass this inspection to be allowed to operate)
• Our vehicles have been awarded a ‘5 star’ (the maximum) safety rating by the New Zealand Transport Authority
• Learning Journeys is registered with the New Zealand Transport Authority as a licensed Transport Service Operator (TSL Number 0243253)
Health and Safety
• Our Health and Safety Plan deals with every aspect of our operations and training. Hazard identification is carried out for every new activity and a RAMS (Risk Analysis and Management System) form is prepared. This process has been audited both by a Department of Conservation approved Safety Auditor and as part of our Qualmark® accreditation

• Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. Your school has to sign The Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students . This is very clear about where, how and with whom secondary students can travel away from their home-stay families. You can book with Learning Journeys with total confidence.
